Colours of Quandamooka country. From the lorikeets, pigface flowers and bush lemons to the deep greens and blues of sea mullet. Hairy grubs that tell us the mullet are here. Sea grass that float on the bay surface tell us dugong herds are in the bay. Shells of the quaompie(pearl oyster , eugarie(pippi) and oyster. Midyim berries and the armies of soldier crabs found at Goompi (dunwich) and Moopi Moopi pa(one mile) and the creeks that flow.
Also shown are the Noonukal, Goenpul and Ngugi. The three clans that make up Quandamooka people and the areas each clan occupied. Together we are connected to that counrty and that country is a part of us.
