“A series of mostly landscape works celebrating the time when travel was easier, together with a larger collection of more familiar scenes, painted with a refreshed appreciation for staying home and exploring the beauty within our reach.”

The best compliment is when a viewer remarks on the ‘feeling’ they get from my paintings.
I’m a ‘keeping-it-real’ person who happens to be in love with all things creative.
My approach and style in paint is loose and spontaneous, and I hope full of expression and feeling.

Sharing the views we don’t always have time to see.
Pausing to record the landscapes and nature otherwise reserved for weekends.

Giving Back

“Earlier this year I had a go helping to fundraise by offering these 3 paintings for sale during the horrible bushfires. 100% of the proceeds with be donated to the Two Thumbs Wildlife Trust. Their Sanctuary (managed by James Fitzgerald) sadly destroyed in the fires sparked by the dreadful plane crash which devastatingly took the lives of the 4 good people who were there to spread fire retardant around the surrounding hills.

Since then my Art Auction hopes failed as Covid 19 struck and the interest has not been there. I’ve decided the best option is to place a price of just $550 Australian dollars for each piece plus postage costs.

Each piece is painted in acrylics, measures 31 x 38.5cm and is beautifully framed in Tasmanian Oak ready to hang; generously donated by the wonderful Manson Framers of Wynnum.”
