I was born and raised in Sydney before moving to Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea for three years living the life of an expatriate. This is where I met my husband to be, eventually moving to Brisbane where we were married and our three children were born.
My first participation in an art show was at age six at the suggestion of my teacher and it was the start of a lifelong passion to create art. I cannot remember a time that I did not have a pencil or paintbrush in my hand. Over the years I have completed numerous art courses and workshops in painting, drawing, pastel, lead light, sculpture and weaving and more recently, scratchboard.
Whilst I love the richness of oils and the excitement of living on the edge with watercolour, I currently enjoy using acrylic with texture and ink. I love the freedom of abstract interpretation.
In 2017, as part of RAW Australia, I introduced a merchandise range from selected pieces of art. The range includes, caftans, sarongs, decorative pillows, serviettes and scarves.
